She enjoys bowling, the beach, board games, live music, movies, fishing, and food. She would really like to try kayaking, ziplining, and hunting. She works late most days, but has the option to be off on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. When she does work weekends, she is off by 6.
He thinks this entire exercise is at best a bit self-indulgent, but feels out of options to meet other adults. He enjoys philosophical debate, discussions of science and its future frontiers, video games, and motorsports. He's a former New Orleans chef and current stay-at-home dad with a passion for punk rock and classic films. He entertains himself by painstakingly over-analyzing the plots of children's movies and pecking away at the novel he's been working on for FAR longer than he'd like to admit.
We have four children; 13, 11, 10, and 2. We are atheists, but won't try to convert you if you don't try to convert us. Once we can afford to, we would really like to get motorcycles to joy ride and guns to take to the range.
What we are Looking for:
Couples that are okay with hanging out at one another's houses and don't need to go "out" to have fun. Our ideal friends would be comfortable having a game night or going out to catch a live music show. We would love to have friends that have children close to our kids' ages (we have a wide range) and enjoy doing family-friendly activities. Couples interested in motorcycles (even though we don't currently ride) would be a plus. She would love friends to fish with or hang out on the beach with. He would like friends to talk nerdy with.
